Peacock is a great natural material for adding a green
"scaly" look to any fly pattern. A few strands of Peacock on
top of your fly simulates the dark line of the dorsal fin that
is folded back when a bait fish is swimming.

Peacock herl adds a natural
fluorescence to your patterns. Just tie in a few strands over the top of your fly to give
a great contrast as well as natural "fishy" appearance. Use it effectively on
all colored flies. Even solid black flies can benefit from some peacock tide in! Peacock Herl can also be
used to wrap a fly for making shrimp and caddis patterns.
Available in 5-7 inch and
long 8-12
inch quarter ounce packages!
Tip:
When wrapping peacock herl, to add strength to the strand wrap it
cork-screw fashion around your thread and then wrap the fly.
