 Grass shrimp (aka: marsh shrimp, ghost shrimp) are a very common an important food for all inshore game fish, including bonefish and permit. This fly is highly effective for imitating their small size and translucent bodies. It can be fished either with a slow steady forward retrieve to simulate the slow swimming or crawling of a shrimp. Note: The fins will come longer than shown in the picture. You can trim them to match-the-hatch of the shrimp in the area you are fishing. |
